Tolga and Natalia, both alumni (former TADA children at the weekend school) now run their own TADA class. In this video, they talk in detail about the transition and how their experience as TADA children influences their approach.
Tolga and Natalia were TADA children of the 2014 generation. Tolga was in Molenbeek and Natalia in Saint-Josse. Today, they are 18 years old, in last year at secondary school and they run their own TADA class every Saturday after their school week.
In this video, they talk in detail about their transition and how their experience as a youngster at TADA influences their approach with the children in their class. Their motivation to give back what TADA has given them is huge.
« I'm really happy to be able to give back what I've been given. » – Natalia
Finally, we'll find out how their new experience is going and what it's like to be on the "other side" of the classroom. They are the first generation of TADA children to become class coordinators and have become trusted figures for around 28 TADA children and their parents. In the coming years, we intend to focus more and more on the transition from alumnus/a to class coordinator.
TADA's long-term vision is to involve as many alumni as possible in the emancipation of new youth, so that they can contribute to a more inclusive society from their own experience.
